The Humming Bird quilt is an interesting array of directional lines made prominent with "lightish" and "darkish" tones of patterned fabrics. The quilt top is made up of 2 1/2" wide strips, you can use jelly rolls, purchase fabric and cut your own strips or make it a scrappy quilt from your stash. The quilt also has the option of making it reversible with a pieced back or using the one backing fabric.
The quilt Size is 155 cm (61") square. The pattern also contains instructions to add a 25 cm (10") one fabric border to make the quilt a double bed size measuring 203 cm (80") square.
